Hi my name is Ali Attar. I was born on July 20 1984 in Orlando Florida. A few months later my family moved to West Africa where I was raised in Nigeria till I was 20. I moved back to New Jersey till 2005 where I completed my engineering degree, and then came to Charlotte in 2006.

I am proudly certified by the National Personal Training Institute (NPTI) as a personal trainer, nutrition consultant and group fitness instructor. I have also earned my CPR and AED certifications from the American Heart Association.

Why I Became A Personal Trainer

Many clients have asked me "why did you become a personal trainer?" For me it was a simple decision. My Father was a Division 1 soccer player in Nigeria, and that led to my passion for athletics. As a youngster, I was exposed to playing both soccer and golf. I have managed to maintain a 2 handicap in golf and won several tournaments in Nigeria, in addition to my golfing success; I also took part in a few soccer tournaments and coached U12 soccer teams.

I have always enjoyed living a healthy lifestyle. I have lived independently for 8 years and learned how to incorporate healthy food into my life. I enjoy cooking and that helped me maintain a tasty variety. I will be happy to give you some great ideas in regards to food selections to help you build a healthy lifestyle

    I thought I was in good shape until I started training w/Ali. He put me through some fun and great training rituals, all of which helped me gain muscle definition and strength. No training session is/was the same; each session was always "fresh and fun" and this kept me motivated and excited about my workouts. I play tennis and golf and Ali created workouts that helped me improve my fitness for both sports. He has a great understanding of what an individual's needs are and works to improve the client's fitness based on those needs. I highly recommed him.

    Ali is a great trainer and a genuinely caring and enjoyable person to be around. Every workout is a little different which keeps it interesting and keeps my attention. Ali knows what he is talking about and is very motivating. He knows when he needs to push you and when he needs to encourage you. I high recommend him.

    Ali is a great trainer and very committed to getting me in shape. He is easy to talk to and gives great guidance. He is clear with his instruction so I always know what muscles I am working. He pushes me harder than I would ever push myself. Working out with him makes exercise very enjoyable.
