San Diego – January 10, 2012 –As the guiding force in the health, wellness and fitness industry since 1982, IDEA Health & Fitness Association will celebrate its 30th anniversary in a big way at the 2012 IDEA World Fitness Convention, July 5th – 8th, in San Diego, CA. The four-day extravaganza will bring together thousands of the industry’s elite professionals, leaders and educators to reflect on the evolution of the health, wellness and fitness industry while looking ahead to redefine its future.

This year’s convention theme, “BE the Transformation,” expresses the core of IDEA’s vision for the future: That fitness professionals have tremendous power to transform themselves and inspire their clients to their own significant life changes. Attendees are invited on an intensive four-day journey that includes a sampling of the hottest research, trends and most-advanced fitness programming delivered by world-class educators and thought leaders. The industry’s top motivational speakers and presenters will also be on hand to deliver forward-thinking seminars on topics ranging from personal training to group fitness to nutrition.
