Application for IDEA Events
IDEA strives to create a unique learning environment for all
delegates. Not only do they expect new and innovative programming,
they come to broaden their knowledge, acquire new skills,
and gain the professional edge they need to be more successful.
IDEA meets these needs by selecting presenters who are dedicated
to furthering the career path of the fitness professional.
It is our goal to bring a well-chosen presenter faculty to
each event, blending seasoned presenters with other qualified
health and fitness educators.
Presenter Membership Requirement:
Every year, IDEA staff and Program Review Council members
review the IDEA Presenter Guidelines to ensure the highest
quality education. After careful consideration, IDEA will
be enacting an additional presenter requirement, which will
take effect on June 1, 2006. The requirement is as follows:
”In order to submit an application or be a presenter
at an IDEA event, it will be required to be an IDEA member
in good standing.”
Our mission to Inspire the World to Fitness® encourages
change in people’s lives and provides an opportunity
for fitness professionals to come together. This makes it
necessary that all presenters be aligned with the goals and
vision of IDEA and therefore be a member of our organization.
Membership provides monthly publications, newsletter communications
and much more. IDEA makes a difference in people’s lives
by inspiring them to be healthier and live better lives. As
presenters you are the people that help to make that happen.
As an IDEA member, you will see the moving effect of our mission.
If you will be teaching or applying to teach at one of our
events in 2007 and you are not a current IDEA member, we urge
you to become part of our mission and join our organization
by visiting us online at www.ideafit.com/membership
