I am Libano-American citizen, my expertise are in the fitness Industry & health sector. I really enjoyed the IFPA PT course, it was such a great experience in Las Vegas by December 2008. Since then I'm continuously cooperating with IFPA. Absolutely all their courses are so rich with full of updated knowledge. Almost 4 years I am practicing the IFPA protocol with my patients succesffully. My policy & mission are based on the safety and the best health service I can ever provide to my patients. I saw alot of improvements with my patients/clients who practice IFPA PT recommendations without injuries. I am realy so lucky and proud being introduced to IFPA. I highly recommend it whoever is interested for professionally accredited certifications in fitness & sports industry.

I am actually extremely picky regarding the information i pay for; i need to get the best value for money, especially when it comes to education and the ability to alter people's life to the better.
The IFPA deliver ample info through their Personal Fitness Trainer course, that enables the holder of the certificate to have a positive influence on his clients, be it inside the training room and outside.
Their course content is delivered by competent and knowledgeable instructors, whose dedication is inspiring.
What i would like to emphasize is the "spirit" they convey through their courses; aim to enhance your client's life, far beyond providing a physical training session.
Through research encouraging teaching, the students are incited to find each a certain topic where they can go deeper in their search for knowledge, while getting the needed assistance all the way.
I am more than satisfied with the whole program they offer: their presence have altered my life.

I have taken so many IFPA courses and have found each and every one of them to be helpful in learning the required material. In fact I've taken so many courses that now the IFPA offers a college degree program allowing the student to take their certification courses and convert them to a degree in fitness training and or medical fitness. Any trainer knows that in todays society, with the obesity problem, both medical and fitness training and essential!
If you are looking for a affordable certification look no farther than the IFPA. It is priced well and the manual is very well written and VERY informative. To those that feel the manual is pure crap, did you actually USE it to train someone?? It covers everything you need to know to train someone effectively.
I have used all the IFPA courses from time to time to go back to when dealing with people outside the norm and they always are a great resource!
After over 10 years in the fitness business, Ive continously used their material to help me become a better trainer.
However like any other exam you are expected to study the material and take a proctored written exam. The exam is not easy despite having over a dedcade of experience, the exam was challenging. It SHOULD be! Its pretty bad when certain organizations send you the certification BEFORE you complete the actual exam. That hurts the industry and makes that trainer look very unprofessional.
The IFPA is accredited through NOCA/NCCA, the standard in the industry. Whats the difference? Its founder! Dr. Jim Bell.
Having had the honor to meet Dr. Bell and MRs. Bell a few years back at a local workshop both were very friendly , down to earth and Dr. Bell was a fitness expert to say the least. You could tell he had experience in the field and had expertise. The man could tell you, by looking at you what your body comp percentage was! And after assessing, he was right on point! That comes with experience!
It takes a lot of work to pass the IFPA exam and it should. Take pride in your profession, study hard and pass the exam, don't expect a handout!
It is kind of offensive that people attack the IFPA. I'm not in any way affiilated with the IFPA aside of being a graduate of their PFT and Fitness Institute. However its rather offensive to blast a company without having any substantial facts about its founder or its courses because of some bs reason that their courses are outdated or its founder doesn't have what he claims. Why would he lie? What would he gain?? I find it offensive to hear someone attack an organization that I believe in because of some bs reason. Why do I believe in them? Their education AND support has made me a better professional in return continued, awesome results for clients.
The courses are all brand new as they send me the latest information! Don't claim otherwise. I have almost of them and they are all awesome courses. If you used the text and trained someone successfully, which I do daily, you probably would not make a statement like the text is crap.
Clearly either you didn't read it or just want to complain.
There are PLENTY of cert organizations in the field that offer poor materials that certify you in a day and that send you the cert before passing the test. The IFPA isn't one of them. How much pride do you take in your profession? Do you want to have credentials that are respected in the field or do you want to just get certified ? If you want to get certified, pay $99, get certified and earn a cert noone has ever heard of and when you train someone, hurt them and get sued because their material was subpar, then loose your right to train!
Fitness training is a big profession and many people need it! There are many ways you can go about getting certified.
Having seen many of the manuals that are out there, the most precise, infomative one is the IFPA! I don't need theoriy I need applied science I can use today.

Their courses offer a broad array of disciplines which have provided me with the academic tools to address the myriad questions that my clients have asked me. Wello is a great way to keep in touch with clients who moved away, and connect with new clients all over the nation. It's also more convenient, as you don't need to drive anywhere or haul equipment around. I also love how it saves time, money, and is better for the environment.
