What child has not discovered this, banging with joyful abandon upon pots and pans, or tapping out the rhythms with his/her feet or hands. . Kids-Beats is “Whole Body” – Whole Mind” integration. It is a non-verbal communication that connects us and enables us to participate socially without the fear of failure Fun is an essential part of Drums Alive – Kids Beats! In play we connect to the child within, and gain access to openness, wonder, and innocence that allow us to see the world new. It is in this state of mind and heart, we provide the child with an environment that allows the child the freedom to create and experience movement and rhythm in their own way. This process in return improves body image and self acceptance as will as provides the child with personal security and well being. |
