American Sports and Fitness Association (ASFA)

I am a fitness professional certified in personal training, sport specific trainer, and sports nutrition. I've been certified with ASFA since 2010, and had many doors open up to me. I have all of the human kinetics books that have been recommended by ASFA, it keeps me studying and staying up to date with the fitness industry, so I can be effective as a fitness professional. Looking around for different certificaitons and CEUs, I ran into ASFA. I checked on their site references and to see what they said. Human Kinetics, Bodybuilding.com and a couple others I contacted said they endorse ASFA. Also, they are partners with an insurance company for their members to get CPT insurance.

All my Exercise Science books were written by Human Kinetics and I always order from BodyBuilding.com. They seem on the same page, so that's cool.

Just renewed my cec's, easy to get around on the site - will go back. They carry fitness textbooks too.

Works for me! I'm a fitness manager and I use it for all my trainers to keep current and establish more credibility with our client base. We've used them for years with no problem.

I did my Master Trainer and Indoor Cycling certifications with ASFA. It helped me get more clients and a raise -- can't complain.

I've used ASFA for years. All the Group Ex. and bootcamp instructors use them to keep an active cert. for classes and most of the trainers use them for CECs and/or advanced certs. They work great! Awesome and convenient! Thanks!

I picked up 2 certs that counted for my cont. ed. for my PT. It kept my PT active and I got a raise for the additional education. You guys rock!

I've been very pleased with ASFA. My studio has used them at least 3 - 4 years with no problems. They've been a good resource for me.
