Research on the Core: Understanding the Basics

by Annette Lang, MS

Description

Core training protocols have been under considerable scrutiny and there are many questions that need to be answered, like, "Is the core wired to fire automatically?" Perhaps the most important question is, "What exactly does the research say and how do we use this information to help our clients to progress safely and effectively?" This DVD will review the most current information available on core training. In addition, you’ll learn the necessity of cuing and how it is used with our personal training clients and class participants. You will also learn how to evaluate the numerous core exercises available, and how to critically decide which ones are the best options for a particular client.

This is a live recorded session from the 2008 IDEA World Fitness Convention™.
