Inspire
the World to Fitness®
With New Promotions
Kick off a new campaign at your fitness facility by targeting
an event tie-in or seasonal element. In May, celebrate
National Physical Fitness and Sports Month along with
the 50th anniversary of The President's Council on Physical
Fitness and Sports. The president's advisory committee
has developed an online
toolkit to promote health, physical activity and
fitness for all ages. Share the downloadable contract
to "Get Active" with new clients and encourage long-time
clients to renew their fitness goals. The site also offers
suggestions on partnering with local organizations to
create a fitness event or challenge and a sample press
release to publicize your event. For more specific details
on how to implement a fitness contest, check out IDEA
Master Personal Fitness Trainer Bryce Jackson's "Work
in Progress" New Year's competition offered at his Real
Fitness studio in Portland, Oregon. Jackson offers invaluable
first-hand advice in the article "Real Fitness, Real People"
by Joy Keller in the September 2005 issue of IDEA
Fitness Journal. |
