Meet Some Outstanding Members!
Jackie Camborde
Santa Fe, New Mexico
Member Since 1995
Studio owner, group fitness instructor, master trainer,
presenter and mom, Jackie Camborde prides herself on
having been there for her students through hardship.
“My studio is made up of women who are 50+,”
says Jackie. “I have helped many of my members
through cancer, fybromyalgia, the death of a spouse
and other life-altering experiences. Many have said
that my classes are the one thing that helped them through
their difficult times.” Jackie also lends her
time to inspiring her colleagues as a teacher-trainer
and seeks to “make the group exercise room the
safest, smartest and most exciting place to be in the
gym.”
Alan Mickel A. Gerardo
Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Member Since 2006
“For me, health is wealth no amount of money can
buy,” says fitness professional Alan Mickel Gerardo.
“We have only one chance to live in this world,
so [let’s] make the most of it.” Alan is
goal-oriented and strives to help each of his clients
succeed. “I have one client from the Philippines
(where I used to work) who enrolled in personal training
because she wanted to lose weight to get pregnant. She
lost 40 pounds in 3 months, and I even trained her to
join me in the International Dragon Boat competition,
where we won a gold, a silver and a bronze medal.”
Before leaving the Philippines last October, Alan received
word that his client had achieved her goal and was expecting
a child.
