Rob has been my personal trainer for nearly five years. He is a tremendous trainer and an even better person. Rob is a consummate professional and knows how to get real results and avoid any injuries in the process. I can highly recommend Rob to anybody and everybody looking for physical fitness and a real advocate!

I've had the pleasure of training with Rob off and on since 2004. I started training with him again a little less than a year ago. Rob pays considerable attention to form and technique and, if you actually listen to what he says, he can always make an exercise harder and more effective. He's not going to sit there and cuddle you, but he will provide the motivation and the variation needed to enable you to improve your strength, improve your appearance, and to lose weight. I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to learn how to exercise properly using equipment and/or free weights (which most people don't) and who is looking for someone to help them reach their goals.

Rob's experience and expertise would be enough for me to write about how successful his training methods are, but beyond that, the rapport he builds with his clients combined with his motivational skills make him a tremendous asset to anyone wanting to enhance their fitness.

I have been participating in Rob's boot camp class for about two months. I consider myself already in good shape, but have managed to lose ten pounds and reach single digit body fat percentage. Subsequently, I have to attribute a lot of that progress to my time spent with Rob.

Rob utilizes variety in his workouts that keep it fun. He also manages class time well so that you always feel like your making progress.

Undoubtedly, I would recommend his training.

I started training with Rob in June 2011 to accelerate my weight loss. After a knee surgery and ten years of sedentary living, I had lost a few pounds on my own through inconsistent dieting, but I was not feeling at all healthy. As a former athlete, I knew I would not make any progress until I started seriously exercising. Rob was very patient with me, and recognized more than I did that I needed to start slow and work my way up to the more rigorous exercise and a focused diet to accelerate fat loss. Since June, with 2-4 times/week workouts (both personal training and his high-intensity interval training "boot camps"), I have lost an additional 18 pounds and have reduced my body fat considerably (next weigh-in is this week, but I suspect about a 10%+ drop overall in body fat). Rob provided me with the first diet to ever truly work for me as a lifestyle--higher protein and quality complex carbs--and when I stick to it, I really see my results. Rob not only provides the structure of exercise, weight training, and diet support, but he offers tremendous emotional support too. He pushes me to do things I did not think I could do (running!), and his occasional encouraging texts and motivation make me realize that my success is personal to him. Rob Quimby is an amazing trainer, and I recommend his services to anyone wanting to lose weight, hone their performance in a a particular area, build their endurance, or just plain get some energy back. He's a wonderful motivator, he's so knowledgeable, and he's a great friend!

I have been taking Rob's Boot Camp class for about 8 months now and hands down it is the best class I've ever taken. From start to finish Rob is pushing you to give your all because he BELIEVES in you even when you don't sometimes believe in yourself! He's pulled more reps, strength, speed, and endurance out of me more than anyone I've ever worked with. Don't get me wrong, sometimes I want to scream at him or just quit, but when it is all over I am hugely thankful for his encouragement. The class is always different, and Rob is masterful at using non-traditional equipment. Along with the more traditional exercises, Rob also has us using the TRX, flipping tires, pushing sleds, catching football passes, and even playing childhood games like tug-o-war and wheelbarrow!! I highly recommend taking Rob's Boot Camp; not only will he help you get into the best physical shape of your life, but he'll also help you uncover the internal strength you never knew you had!! Thanks for everything Rob!

When I started training with Rob I wanted to increase endurance. I didn’t realize I would get so much more than that. Because of my training with Rob, I have seen a difference in my strength, flexibility and balance. He pays attention to form and technique, leaving me feeling confident. Rob challenges me and pushes me to my max to meet my fitness goals.
From TRX suspension training, free weights to BOOT camp, I love the variety of workout options I get from having Rob as a personal trainer. Each is tough and challenging.
He encourages a strong mind as well as strong body. I can tell fitness is not just a job for Rob. It is his passion and it shows. He gives genuine, upbeat, positive encouragement. His workouts are never the same; he leaves me wanting more after every training session.

Rob you are awesome! I first started training with Rob in 1997. I needed to loose about thirty pounds and I was 28% body fat. Rob kept telling me "You have to eat right with working out" and of course as usual he was right. One year later, I finally listened! From January 1998 to May 1998 I went from 28% body fat to 14%. I never felt better and I was in the best shape ever. Since then, I got married, had two children, and as my schedule would allow, I trained with Rob off and on. Well, a couple of years ago I started having knee trouble and I was told I am facing knee replacements. Ever since I had my second daughter 7 yrs ago I have struggled with keeping the weight off, and I was limited on what I could do in the gym because of my knees. I told my husband "I need Rob he is the only one who can help me". This past August 2011, I called Rob and said, Help!! Since then I have lost almost 20 pounds, dropped a size in my clothes and my knees are feeling stronger. Rob knows his stuff!! Rob like I said, You are awesome! and Thanks for all of your help and your patience!! I look forward to you helping me reach my goal! No pressure!!

I have trained with Rob for over 2 years! Rob always delivers! He does a great job with changing up my workouts, which really keeps me interested and coming back! He really understands my "moods" and can adapt my workout to fit that particular day/week and or/ month! That's the personal touch that I really value in a trainer! I can tell you, I always look forward to my hour workout with Rob. He is kind and understanding, along with tough and motivating! He is as committed to my health and fitness as I am.........what more could you ask for!!

I've trained with Rob for at least 7 years. Rob is always motivating and there to help me. No matter what my goals are, Rob is able to support me with nutrition and fitness advice -for weight loss, muscle gain, toning, the latest fitness trends, and also sport specific training. No matter what shape you are in, or what your goals are, Rob is your best bet for great results!

I tried losing weight on my own, but with limited success. Then I hired Rob and things really started to happen. He designed an exercise program specifically for me, combining weight training and cardio. He is very knowledgable, enthusiastic, and gave me the inspiration I needed to succeed. I have lost 30 pounds thus far, and know I will reach my weight loss and fitness goals because Rob gave me the tools and the confidence to pull it all together. Thanks, Rob!
