Yogafit Training Completed: Levels 1-3 in WA.
Job: Graduate student, fitness instructor on the side
Review Level 1: Level 1 was wonderful--lots of instructors, lots of basic poses to go through. The class focused on safety. Most students had been taking yoga for a while and so the class went well.
Review Level 2: Focus was communication. Level 2 was good especially how to give verbal adjustments and how to look to bad poses. Reviewing the yamas and niyamas was good bc the other instructors had insightful comments. The best part was learning how to teach to visual, auditory and kinesthetic learners.
Review Level 3: Focus was on the self. Some new material taught including the chakras and some advanced poses like crow. Best part was for some of us who don't believe in chakras, Yogafit is accepting of all views. Exceptional part was physical adjustments--we learned many but I only use the ones for final relaxation.

I have received the Level 1 and Level 2 certifications from YogaFit and I LOVE the organization! When I went to the Level 1, I did not have an extensive background in yoga. YogaFit makes learning about yoga and preparing to teach a yoga class so easy...they break the class down into sections, which really works for me since I need things "outlined" and in an organized fashion for my classes! I am very happy to be a part of the YogaFit family and hope to continue my trainings with them.

Katherine Garner has been my personal trainer for more than seven years. In that time, I have found her to be caring and professionally competent in multiple exercise modes. She has managed to keep me healthy and involved in three weekly workout sessions by varying my program and challenging my fitness levels.
I developed leukemia in 2007, and my oncologist believes that the continuing devotion to her fitness sessions, has allowed me to remain active and flexible. Can't praise her too highly, and am grateful for her commitment to my health.

I have completed Yogafit's Levels 1 thru 5, Anatomy & Alignment, Yogafit Plus, Yogafit Props, and Level 1 Integration. I have enjoyed every one of my trainings and would recommend Yogafit very highly to anyone seeking to become a yoga instructor or to enhance their current trainings with other companies.

The YogaFit menu of training is second to none. Their training focuses on SAFETY and EFFECTIVENESS above all else. They continue to expand what they offer and the new YogaFitness University promises to take it to the next level. The yoga therapy program is the first of its kind. YogaFit IS the leader in yoga training.

I have absolutely loved my Journey with Yogafit. I have taken all of the 200hr requirements and am now on the 500hr and 300hr Therapy path. I'm always looking forward to my next training.
