Did you ever wonder why you aren’t supposed to let your knees go beyond your toes during a squat? Do you have clients with excessive valgus, joint degeneration or torn (or repaired) ligaments and don’t know what leg exercises they should, or more importantly, shouldn’t be doing? This workshop will help trainers gain a more in-depth understanding of joint mechanics and the types of forces that can be tolerated. Discover new ways to modify exercises so you are better prepared to address unique anatomical/mechanical issues with confidence.

I purchased this product after attending an RTS (Resistance Training Specialist) course instructed by Joe DeAntonis. I was impresssed by his presentation and breadth of knowledge on the body and exercise mechanics, so I decided to look into other material of his.

As I expected, this DVD delivers. Joe's unique personality and presentation shine through in the crowd of other, more "standard" videos on the market, all while delivering pertinent information that is grounded in sound scientific principles and devoid of the typical myths and dogma that you hear in the industry today. Here, much as he did during his RTS presentation, Joe delivers an eye-opening perspective that will hopefully change the way you think about many exercises we THINK we understand. I strongly suggest giving this video a try. In the quest for improving our knowledge and understanding, resources like this one are hard to find. 5 stars!
