Type: DVD

Description

With so many pre-choreographed programs becoming the standard in our industry, instructors no longer have to think exercises through. Instead of memorizing routines, Muscle-TECH will teach alternatives for creating thousands of group strength exercises, simply by understanding how force is applied to the body. Based on the teachings of the Resistance Training Specialist® programs, learn how to apply the science of exercise mechanics and experience a strategic, precise strength-training exercise using elastic tubing. Think you know all there is to know about tubing? Think tubing is a waste of time? This video will open your eyes to the truth.

This video should be viewed by newly certified instructors. They would benefit from the way Lauren demonstrates the practical application of the physics of human movement. It will open their minds to alternative ways to apply force during resistance training. It is important to note that trainers and clients should be starting with very little resistance and progressing only after both understand and feel what is occurring throughout the motion of the exercise. By this I mean, no instructor should ever have a client perform an exercise that they have not done themselves with that client in mind. And the client should begin with small resistance and progress with small increases in resistance as they become comfortable with the resistance and the feel of the motion. Very good video and very good presentation. I am giving it 4 stars, but the stars keep switching to 3 when I try to post it.
