Survey Results Highlight Fitness Forecast
The American Council on Exercise (ACE) recently announced its top fitness trend predictions for 2007. According to ACE, 2007 will bring programming to special populations, offer alternative and low-cost fitness options and provide the “very best in personal training.”
Additional highlights include the following:
- expanded specialized fitness programming for older adults
- small-group training for all age groups
- a focus on youth programming
- simple, affordable options and alternatives for workouts
- functional fitness and balance training activities
- accountability and measurement-focused programming
