Superfine Sugar Substitution

A lot of baking recipes call for superfine sugar, which is typically found in the alcohol section of the supermarket (it is a key ingredient in certain cocktails). However, in a pinch, you can modify regular granulated sugar at home to produce a quick substitute. Simply process granulated sugar in a food processor for about 2 minutes using the metal blades.
