Resources for Healthy Kids' Snacks

by Diane Lofshult on Apr 01, 2006

The Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI) has two new resources that are teeming with ideas for healthy snacks that parents and health professionals can readily adapt for their own young charges. According to a CSPI press release, the resources include these items:

  • a one-page list of healthy snacks that can be used as a handout or a newsletter, available for downloading at www.cspinet.org/nutrition policy/snacks_summary.pdf
  • a more extensive list of snack ideas for those who wish more detail, available at www.cspinet.org/healthy snacks

The CSPI urges health and fitness professionals to adapt these resources as needed and to feel free to forward the ideas to colleagues and friends.
