I must day that I am taken aback by your findings. Where was this study conducted? Obviously not anywhere near the NorthEast. I argue with the studio owner where I teach to get $17.00 per class. In contracting my own classes, have conteded with $15.00, just for the sake of exposure! Being in New Hampshire for 10 years, I find that the environment is not as open here. (Coming from Toronto, where things are more progressive). Honestly, there should be more attention to professionalism here (sadly lacking), but I lack the ability and time to make an issue, so I take individual responsibility for this in my teaching opportunities, which are few here. I look forward to any constructive comments here.. Laura Partridge
