Clients always want to know how many calories they are burning while exercising. Now they can use their smart phone or PDA to count calories instantly while jogging along a path or changing ends between tennis games.

The University of Maryland Medical System offers an online calculator (at www.healthcalculators.org) that allows users to plug in their weight, activity and the time spent doing the activity. In nanoseconds, users receive an estimate for the calories they just burned. The university site features 23 other calculators that can estimate heart disease risk, the number of carb grams you should eat daily and other quantifications.
