2. Eating Peanut Butter May Prevent Breast Disease
According to research presented in this article from The Huffington Post there is an association between regular peanut butter consumption and a lower risk of developing breast cancer. The research found that in the group of girls studied, eating peanut butter twice a week during adolescence was linked to a 39% lower risk of developing benign breast disease. The article notes that the study only showed an association and doesn't show that peanut butter can definitively prevent breast disease. View the full article here.
