This year, World Tai Chi and Qigong Day will be held on April 26. The mission of the event is to educate the world about emerging medical research on the health benefits of tai chi and qigong; to let people know about the increasing use of these ancient traditional Chinese medicine modalities in business, education, and penal and drug rehabilitation; to provide a global vision of cooperation for health and healing purposes across geopolitical boundaries; and to appeal to people worldwide to embrace wisdom from all cultures of the world.
