In this class, we will examine the biomechanics at all joints in the lower body, and determine how abnormal motion at one joint can negatively impact motion at the joints above and/or below it. Gain an understanding of how muscles function at the foot, the knee, and at the hip, and how they are all interrelated. Trainers will walk away with tools to effectively assess for mechanical imbalances and determine an exercise strategy based upon this assessment process.

Taking things up a notch, this 2 hour barre workshop adds even more neuromuscular challenge to coordination learned in Level 1. Following the Total Barre template, learn additional balance and strength exercises and incorporate small hand weights or toning balls, foam rollers and ankle tubing to help challenge and bump-up the strength and calorie burning results your clients are after. A recommended play list of music will be provided as well as suggested beats per minute for each segment, so you can create an hour long endurance-plus class for clients.

Particular attention is paid to balancing mobility and muscular balance in the lower kinetic chain.
