721: Hyperwear®: SandBell® Circuits

Time Block H - Saturday, 11:30am-1:15pmThis dynamic strength and endurance workout is ideal for small-group training. The workout consists of three circuits, each with six to eight exercises (stations). Exercises are performed at each station for bouts of 45 seconds. Participants cycle through all stations in the circuit before resting. After a short rest interval, participants then move into the next circuit of stations. The exercise progressions learned in this fast-paced class will keep your clients constantly engaged in your small-group training sessions.

The knowledge that we have gathered on estrogen and its effects on the body as a regulator of energy expenditure, appetite and body weight has stimulated deeper investigation into the role of estrogen receptors on weight gain during menopause. This session will explore the new research that is emerging on the hormonal influence on adiposity and menopausal transitions, as well as exercise interventions to prevent weight gain.
