During her 27 years as a fitness professional, she was recognized as Atlanta's top spin instructor and served as a fitness expert for regional CBS and NBC affiliates. Elizabeth trains athletes with the Seattle Seahawks, body building competitors, MMA fighters and weekend warriors. Brook Benten, MEd
Brook Benten, MEd, is the president of Cardiopump™ Fitness, LLC, and an advisory board member for Hyperwear®, GoFit and Power Music®. Brook was also a 2012 finalist for PFP Personal Trainer of the Year, and has contributed content for Prevention, Livestrong.com and the Associated Press. She is best known for her work with kettlebells, and is a former RKC and current SFG Level II kettlebell instructor. Her early career was spent managing university fitness programs, and she now brings kettlebell and SandBell® education to campus recreation centers. Mike Bracko, EdD
Mike Bracko, EdD, is the director of Dr. Bracko’s Fitness and the Hockey Institute, and is a fitness educator, hockey skating coach, writer and back injury prevention expert. He holds a doctoral degree in exercise science and he works with hockey players, industrial workers and fitness professionals to improve performance and prevent injury. Mike is the author of 28 DVDs and CDs on topics such as body leverage training, ultimate back exercises, lateral training, back injury prevention and safe lifting. Certification: NSCA.
Douglas Brooks, MS
Douglas Brooks, MS, is the director of programming for COREFX®, BOSU® and RealRyder® Indoor Cycling. The ex-Kona Ironman® triathlete is also the director of athlete conditioning for Sugar Bowl Ski Academy where he works with elite junior and professional athletes. Douglas was inducted into the U.S. National Fitness Hall of Fame and has been honored by CanFitPro™ as the International Presenter of the Year, and by IDEA as the 2014 Personal Trainer of the Year. Coach Brooks is the author of numerous books and he cross-trains according to the seasons.
Nick Clayton, MS, MBA
Nick Clayton, MS, MBA, is the personal training program manager for the National Strength and Conditioning Association®. He has 16 years of experience as a personal trainer, strength coach and fitness director. Most notably, he started the sport performance program at TMI Sports Medicine (home to the Texas Rangers), managed the fitness programs at the University of Florida, and owned/operated a small corporate fitness business. Nick earned his master’s degree in exercise science and his MBA from the University of Florida and is considered an expert in program design, exercise selection and business development. Fabio Comana, MA, MS
Fabio Comana, MA, MS, is a faculty instructor for the National Academy of Sports Medicine®, San Diego State University and UC San Diego. Previously, Fabio was an exercise physiologist and certification manager for the American Council on Exercise® where he was the original creator of ACE’s Integrated Fitness Training Model™ and the primary developer of all live personal training educational workshops. Fabio is a former head coach at the collegiate level, and strength and conditioning coach and manager for Club One. Rodney Corn, MA
Rodney Corn, MA, is a co-founder of PTA Global and an adjunct faculty member at the University of San Francisco and the California University of Pennsylvania. With over 20 years in the fitness industry, Rodney has traveled worldwide presenting at numerous conferences, sharing his experience in wellness, sports performance and corrective exercise. Michol Dalcourt is an educator, author, inventor and industry leader in the areas of human movement and performance training. He has served as an instructor at the NAIT College School of Health Sciences, and as a former adjunct faculty member at the University of San Francisco in the sports science department. Currently the director of the Institute of Motion, Michol is also the creator of ViPR™, the co-founder of PTA Global and has studied exercise science at the University of Alberta.
Laura Daray, MS
Laura Daray, MS, is an exercise scientist at the Gatorade Sports Science Institute (GSSI) with interests in sports nutrition, training and fitness, and performance. She joined GSSI in January of 2011 to support the education and scientific liaison group with growing athlete testing and education opportunities. Laura's primary focus is science translation for athletes and influencers, helping to educate about proper hydration and fueling for athletic occasions. In addition, her athletic training and fitness training background allows insight into team sport, individual sport and fitness athletes, as well as their common practices and needs.
Amy Dixon is a master trainer for FitnessGlo®, Gatorade®, Schwinn® Cycling, BOSU® and ShockWave. She is the national creative manager for Equinox® and was recently named IDEA's Fitness Instructor of the Year for 2015. Her many television and media appearances include Oprah’s OWN Show, the Today show, Women’s Health, Shape and The Los Angeles Times. A former world competitive power tumbler and coach, Amy applies her energy and athleticism to the many award-winning workout DVDs and online programs she has created. She holds multiple fitness certifications and a bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology.
Todd Durkin, MA
Todd Durkin, MA, owns Fitness Quest 10 and Todd Durkin Enterprises in San Diego. He is a human performance specialist, bodyworker, author and motivational speaker who trains dozens of elite, high profile NFL and MLB athletes, including two Super Bowl MVPs, Olympic gold medalists, and Heisman Trophy winners. Todd is a past recipient of the IDEA and ACE Personal Trainer of the Year awards. Certifications: ACE, NSCA.
Shannon Fable, 2013 IDEA and 2006 ACE Instructor of the Year, is the director of exercise programming for the Anytime Fitness franchise. Shannon is a 17-year fitness veteran, freelance writer and international presenter for Schwinn® and BOSU®. She is a member of the ACE board of directors, has helped author portions of the ACE® and ACSM group fitness manuals, and has starred in over 25 fitness videos. Mike Fantigrassi, MS, is the director of professional services at the National Academy of Sports Medicine® and a NASM master instructor. He is a 20+ year veteran of the fitness industry and has worked as a fitness manager, personal trainer and nutrition coach. Mike oversees NASM’s master trainer program, live education events and online instructor led programs, and is a frequent subject matter expert for magazines, books and articles. Elisabeth Fouts is a fitness industry veteran with 10 years of experience ranging from personal and small-group training, to health club management at the club and district level, to group fitness instruction. She holds a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from the University of Tennessee and is certified in three Les Mills group fitness formats. Elisabeth currently serves as the education and trade show coordinator for Power Systems® and as a group fitness instructor for Gold’s Gym® in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Britny Fowler is an experienced personal trainer and presenter, providing training and education for several education companies including Trigger Point, TRX, and Hyperwear. She teaches group strength, cardio, cycle and pilates classes. Britny has appeared in the A&E series Heavy as a trainer to clients facing life-threatening health consequences as a result of their obesity. Steve Hertzler, PhD, RD, LD, is a senior research scientist for Abbott Nutrition with expertise in sports nutrition and carbohydrate metabolism. Steve holds a doctorate degree in human nutrition and has been a registered dietitian since 1988. He is an author on 20 peer reviewed research articles, was on the nutrition faculty at Ohio State University for 7 years, and has 3 years of experience as a clinical dietitian.
Scott Josephson, MS, RD
Scott Josephson, MS, RD, is an international speaker, specializing in fitness and nutrition. He is the recipient of CanFitPro’s 2010 Specialty Presenter of the Year award and ECA’s 2011 Citizen of the Year award. Scott is also on the advisory boards for American Fitness Professionals and Associates, and Canadian Fitness Professionals. Scott earned his degrees at the University of Miami, and his work portfolio includes Wimbledon champions and athletes who play for the New York Giants and New York Mets.
Shari Kalkstein is a licensed physical therapy assistant, certified strength and conditioning specialist and certified personal trainer with over 20 years experience. As the owner/president of Fortify Your Frame, Inc., a personal training business, Shari specializes in balance and fall prevention, fall recovery, as well as improving strength and endurance in aging adults. Mark Kelly, PhD
Mark Kelly, PhD, has been actively involved in the fitness industry spanning 30 years as a teacher of exercise physiology at academic institutions such as California State University, Fullerton, an exercise physiologist for the American Council on Exercise, a corporate wellness director and a master fitness trainer. In addition, Mark was a nationally-ranked duathlete, collegiate bowler, and is still a competitive trail and mud runner. Currently on the board of directors for the Functional Aging Institute, Mark produces content for the Medical Fitness Network, teaches kinesiology at Santa Ana Community College and speaks internationally on aging and fitness.

Neil Mallinson is a master trainer for TRX® and an Advocare® nutritional advisor. Christopher Mohr, PhD, RD, is the co-owner of Mohr Results, Inc., in Louisville, Kentucky. He is a nutrition spokesperson and consultant to a variety of companies; some current and recent partners include General Mills Bell Institute of Health, Nestlé, Clif Bar®, the Almond Board of California, the National Cattleman's Beef Association, Reebok, Nordic Naturals® and the Cincinnati Bengals. Chris is a registered dietitian and holds a master’s degree in nutrition and a doctoral degree in exercise physiology.
Mindy Mylrea is a respected presenter who has inspired and motivated fitness professionals worldwide. She is a recipient of the IDEA Fitness Instructor of the Year, and the CanFitPro™ and ECA Presenter of the Year awards. Mindy is the creator and lead talent behind Tabata Bootcamp™ and Gliding™, and she is a master trainer for Schwinn® Cycling, Body Bar®, BOSU® and Flirty Girl Fitness®. The owner of FitFlix Productions, Mindy has starred in over 400 instructional videos and authored numerous articles. Nardia Norman has worked extensively in the fitness industry as a speaker, trainer and health coach. She has been instrumental in developing and nurturing aspiring personal trainers in her roles as a lecturer and content developer for the Australian Institute of Fitness, as cluster manager with Fitness First and as a lecturer at the Personal Training Academy, earning herself the nickname Trainer of Trainers™. Jan Schroeder, PhD, is a professor of kinesiology, specializing in fitness, at California State University, Long Beach. Jan has authored over 45 research articles and book chapters in the area of exercise physiology/fitness. She is an international presenter specializing in women’s fitness as well as the older adult, and she is a certified group exercise instructor who teaches weekly in the private sector.
Kim Schwabenbauer, MS, RD
Kim Schwabenbauer, MS, RD, is a graduate of Penn State University’s nutrition program and has over 10 years of experience as a registered dietitian. Her work as a triathlon coach, professional triathlete and board certified specialist in sports nutrition drove her to found her personal sports nutrition counseling and endurance coaching business, Fuel Your Passion. Kim has appeared on national television as a dietitian and coach for the hit show MTV Made and is currently ranked 22nd in the world among female triathletes.
Ashley Selman is the founder of Evolution Trainers, a 14,000 square foot personal training and sports performance studio.
