James Beauchemin, PhD

James Beauchemin, PhD, is a senior staff therapist at the Ohio State University where he specializes in performance enhancement, lifestyle change and working with student athletes. He also serves as adjunct faculty for the colleges of social work, counselor education and kinesiology at OSU. James has contributed to multiple publications and national presentations, and has provided training for organizations including the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). He is also a subject matter expert for the American Council on Exercise®.

Leslee Bender, creator of the Bender Ball™ and co-creator of Barre Above™, has over 25 years of experience in the fitness industry and has presented in more than 20 countries. Anthony Carey, MA

Anthony Carey, MA, is the owner of Function First and creator of the Pain-Free Movement Specialist. He holds a master’s degree in biomechanics and athletic training, and was named PFP magazine’s 2009 Personal Trainer of the Year. He is an international presenter on biomechanics, corrective exercise, functional anatomy and motor control and their relationships to pain and function. Anthony is also the author of The Pain-Free Program: A Proven Method to Relieve Back, Neck, Shoulder and Joint Pain and the inventor of the Core-Tex®.

Rachel Cosgrove co-owns and operates Results Fitness, a training company located in Southern California. She has authored two best-selling books, The Female Body Breakthrough and Drop Two Sizes, and created the Drop Two Sizes DVD set. She lectures nationally and internationally on topics such as strength training, fat loss, business and nutrition. A consultant for Nike, Rachel is also on the advisory board for Women’s Health, and is the recipient of the 2012 IDEA Personal Trainer of the Year award.

Joe DeAntonis, MS, has been teaching biomechanics and cadaver anatomy courses to fitness professionals since 2003. In addition to his engineering coursework, Joe holds a master’s degree in exercise science and has taken supplementary graduate courses in sports medicine. As the fitness director at Supreme Health and Fitness in Madison, Wisconsin, Shana coaches across multiple disciplines. Kari Woodall

Kari Woodall is a former U.S. National Team Swimmer and Division I collegiate coach. She uses her knowledge about the power of the body, physical training and mental toughness to help athletes and first responders perform at peak levels and fitness enthusiasts perform as athletes. Kari is a master trainer for TRX® and a Certified Level II firefighter. She owns BLAZE, a movement-based group training and boot camp studio at her local fire station in Middleton, WI.

Bennie Wylie is a seasoned strength and conditioning coach and the first-season winner of the NBC television series competition, S.T.R.O.N.G. Bennie has served on the coaching staff for the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Tech and the University of Tennessee, and as head strength and conditioning coach for the University of Texas. He currently trains everyday athletes at his fitness and performance facility, The Performance Lab, in Abilene, Texas. Bennie holds a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and certifications with CSCCa, TPI and USAW.

Tyler Yearby, MEd

Tyler Yearby, MEd, is the owner of Inspire Movement in Minneapolis. He is a master instructor and international representative for KettleBell Concepts (KBC), and a master instructor and international presenter for Evidence Based Fitness Academy (EBFA) and Stroops. With more than 11 years’ experience, Tyler has taught more than 40 training courses in multiple countries. He is also the former strength and conditioning coach for University of Minnesota football. Tyler also holds a master’s degree in kinesiology. Certifications: ACE-HFS; NASM-CPT, PES, CES; NSCA-CSCS
