There is a growing need for fitness professionals who possess the knowledge and skill sets to positively impact youth by helping them develop paths to active and healthy lifestyles. P2 American Council on Exercise® (ACE): Movement-Based Training

9:00am–5:30pm | Pete McCall, MS

Exercise is a function of human movement. Based on recent research about the fascial system, exercise is more effective when considered as a series of integrated movements instead of isolated muscle actions. That research has inspired us to create this new workshop, meant to replace ACE’s functional movement and training workshop. The new format will help you to develop an understanding of integrated anatomy and coaching techniques for movement-based exercise to help your clients reach their goals. You’ll also review supporting science and how you can use the ACE Integrated Fitness Training® (ACE IFT®) model for exercise program design.

Lunch is on your own (30 minutes).

Approved for 0.8 ACE CECs. Continuing education credits from other agencies are pending.
