Cancellation Policy for IDEA Conferences

If you attended an IDEA conference, but were not satisfied, you may receive a complete refund. To request a refund it must be in writing. Please state what the issue was.We've made it easier to switch names on event registrations at no charge—If you can’t make it, you may send a colleague in your place by contacting IDEA member services at least 7 days prior to the event (switches are subject to a fee increase based on member status). However, we cannot refund unused event registrations after the event has taken place.
For a refund of event fees:
- If we receive your cancellation 31 days prior to an event, the administrative processing fee is $50.
- If we receive your cancellation within 30 days of the event, the administrative processing fee is $100.
- Or you can cancel at any time prior to the event and a credit will be issued to you for the amount paid that can be used towards another IDEA upcoming event with no penalty to you.
