The IDEA World Fitness BlogFest with Sweat Pink features advanced blogging sessions, celebrity workouts that you wouldn’t be able to find anywhere else and behind-the-scenes access to the largest fitness event in the world. You’ll also be able to get great discounts and network with over 300 companies in the IDEA World Fitness and Wellness Expo.
Yes! The IDEA World Fitness BlogFest with Sweat Pink is for all bloggers who write about everything from fitness to nutrition to healthy living.
The full BlogFest is 4 days. The first 2 days (Thursday and Friday) are filled with advanced blogging sessions mixed with a few fun celebrity workouts. The next 2 days (Saturday and Sunday) you can choose from any IDEA World Convention session you want. We recommend you stay all 4 days, but it’s really up to you!
After you register for BlogFest, you will receive an email with instructions on how to secure your spot in the IDEA World Convention sessions. Session selection goes live in February so you should receive your email then. You will also see a list of suggested sessions for bloggers for Saturday and Sunday that we think you would enjoy. This year, we are opening up applications for bloggers to come to BlogFest for free. That's right! We will cover your full registration fee. Click here to learn more about the application process. Please note that you will be responsible for your own travel and accommodations.
Due to the limited spots available for the BlogFest event, if you cancel your BlogFest registration at any time between NOW and April 1, 2018, you will be charged a $50 administrative fee; after April 1, 2018 you will be charged a $100 administrative fee. During the registration process, you will be asked to provide your credit card information. Your credit card will not be charged unless you cancel your registration or you fail to attend this event.
By sponsoring your attendance at an IDEA Convention, your sponsor gets whatever benefits you agree to provide to them. Sponsoring an individual IDEA Convention blogger directly is not equivalent to sponsoring the event itself, and therefore attendee sponsors are not eligible for any official sponsor benefits. Only official sponsors of the IDEA conference itself receive official sponsor benefits, including exhibit booths. If your sponsor would like to exhibit at the conference, please contact Amanda Dingle at email@example.com.
Unsolicited materials such as sponsor swag, gifts, or literature may not be distributed within the conference space or the host hotel, directly or indirectly. Such materials will be removed if left lying on any surface within the conference space or hotel.
Should you wish to host a private party for your sponsor, your event must be held at a separate venue. All of the suites and meeting space within the conference space and hotel will be held for official conference events only.
We encourage bloggers to network, exchange business cards, information, or similar ways of exchanging blog URLs, social networking information, etc. Feel free to include your sponsor information on such materials. Just make sure that the sponsor information is on your own contact materials, rather than passing out sponsor specific materials. Bloggers should also feel free to wear sponsor clothing throughout the duration of the event.
A: BlogFest attendees can visit the Registration counter at the Manchester Grand Hyatt Hotel, located at 1 Market Place, San Diego, CA. during the following hours:
Wednesday, June 27 - 7am-7pm
Thursday, June 28 - 6am-6pm
Friday, June 29 - 6:30am-6pm
Saturday, June 30 - 6:30am-5:45pm
Sunday, July 1 - 7-11:30am
Once on-site, you will want to make sure you have registration confirmation / picture ID, printed copy of sessions, water (bring a bottle and refill it at the water stations), snacks, sweatshirt (sometimes the rooms get a little cool, especially after some exercise), a yoga mat (if you plan on taking any yoga classes), notepad and a pen or pencil, and business cards for networking.
Unfortunately, other than your hotel room, there are no shower facilities available to attendees in the convention center. Restroom facilities throughout the venue can be used for changing clothes, if needed.
In response to attendee requests and to preserve the educational atmosphere of the convention, children under the age of 18 are not allowed in sessions.
You may cancel your San Diego Adventures session with full refund up until May 30, 2018. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after this date.
