I am open when trainers approach me about using my facility (a smaller, 24 hour gym). I don't have trainers on my staff here and use independents anyways. I negotiate a split or fee with them. I have had times when the trainers client has then joined my gym. Owners are always open to that and ma...

As Karin mentioned, I would stay with commercial grade equipment for the cardio (vs home equipment). If you can find a cardio piece that is commercial gra...

Well how do you know a daycare center can be trusted with your child? How do you know you can trust a baby sitter or nanny? You do your homework, ask other parents, talk to who is running the program, go observe whoever is with the kids at the facility and see what they are doing. One of the pote...

I assume the pain is in his knee(s) only. Does he have any pain during or after his runs? If he does, he needs to find what is the underlying problem and is causing the pain. Laying off may help him get over it - until he starts running again and it comes back. Things for him to consider - shoes...

I am not sure about the labral tear, but for the IT band - what are the problem(s)? For runners it is common for the IT band to get tight. There are different stretches for this - it easiest to search on utube for videos to see them. The other thing I recommend is rolling the IT band on a foam ro...
