Zig-Zag Fwd Run

Cone drills train the anaerobic system and agility skills. Set up the cones in a zig zag. If you have more space you might wanna add another one to further increase the intensity of the drill. Start by running slowing around the cones, and then just running straight back. That's our first progression. To increase the difficulty, do a lateral shuffle. Move laterally from an athletic stance, go around the cones, and then run back. As our final progression and the most challenging in terms of footwork, do a carioca movement. Cross the feet, plant, go around the cones, and then run back. That one will really improve your fitness and your agility.
