Walk Up and Down

If you're circuit training or doing interval training, doing some cardio blasts on the unstable surface of the BOSU balance trainer is a great way to increase the caloric expenditure and get the heart rate up. Start with simply walking up and down on the trainer. Lead with one leg and make sure you get both legs working for you. To progress, run up and down. This increases the intensity, the heart rate, and the difficulty. For the last progression, drive the knees up and really use the arms. Your heart rate will be quite high.
