*Former U.S.M.C. Military Police Officer *Former 10 Year Veteran Chicago Police Dept I started training in the martial arts at the age of fifteen as a boxer. At seventeen I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where I was taught hand to hand combat. I was Honorably Discharged from the Marines and I then pursued a career in law enforcement with the Chicago Police Dept. There I was taught simple self defense moves that proved to be insufficient for real world street survival. I then began my Tae Kwon Do training and progressed through the belt ranks. I always had a passion for health and fitness and therefore became a certified personal trainer and now own and operate my own martial arts and fitness studio.
