Supine Leg Press with Stability Ball

Supine leg presses with the stability ball is a great exercise to orientate your client to use of the stability ball. It is a functional closed chain with the foot on the ground. This exercise will get involvement of the ankle, knee, and hip. Lean against the stability ball with your upper body. Then get your hands behind your head and your buttocks slightly suspended off the floor. From here, extend at the knee and hip, pushing yourself back, controlling how far back and how fast you go, and then lowering back down. Then repeat.
