Squats with Hand-to-Hand Walk-Down

Description

Use a weighted bar or dowel to help with your balance. Start standing on a balance trainer. To begin, walk your hands down the bar as you squat and then come back up. Take 8 seconds to go down, 8 seconds up. To increase the difficulty, go slower, contracting for a longer period of time, which increases the intensity. For the last progression, go all the way down into a full squat. If this is hard for your knees, modify and work at a pain free range of motion.
