Squat Swing

Squatting with a medicine ball toss is a fun and fantastic way to work the lower body. Start this exercise progression with a squat swing. Establish the basic movement, thrust up through the hips, and powerfully swing the ball up. Then start to move this into a toss. Toss up, catch, and squat back down in a smooth and rhythmic motion. For our third and last progression, you will move laterally. Come to the side, toss and catch, and then move back in the other direction. When you start to move this to the side you have to be a little bit more careful with your catch.
