Training the lats without heavy weight equipment can be very challenging with just small apparatus. By placing a paper plate underneath the hand, you'll get a great amount of work for your lats. Start by lying on your side at the very front edge of your mat with your hips stacked. Push down on your hand and glide in by squeezing through the lat to come up, and then with control you come back down to your start position. Now in order to intensify this, lift your legs and then come up. So you'll bring the core way into the picture and come back down. Even with the feet on the floor you'll still find it's a great exercise, but if you want to bring the core more into the picture, lift your feet.
