Pushups are one of the greatest exercises for the chest, shoulders, triceps, and core. And by adding instability. it only gets better. Place your hands on paper plates and extend out into pushup position, really engaging the core, keeping the abdominals nice and firm. Come down, lowering the chest, opening your arms, and then drive up into that upper position. Then come all the way down and explode up. For a progression, come up onto the toes. By lengthening the lever, we add much more core demand. Come down into that pushup and then explode up.
