Lateral Raise with Transverse Plane Torso Rotation

Lateral raises with the transverse plane rotation is a great exercise that takes some of the benefits of the traditional lateral raise with the dumbbell, but incorporates a rotation of the torso and momentum that has to be controlled as you shift your weight side to side. So go through the lateral raise, bring the dumbbell up, reverse directions with your upper body rotating. Move the arm behind you so you have to decelerate that swing that's occurring with the dumbbell each time.
