Frontal Plane Shoulder Presses Alternate Arm-Dumbbells

For the frontal plane shoulder presses with the dumbbells, we're going to use alternate arm movements and each time as you press the dumbbell overhead, bring it across your body so that the momentum of the dumbbell has to be controlled with the trunk musculature on either side. You'll also have a weight shift away from the arm that's doing the pressing onto the side or the direction that it's moving. If we wanted to progress this exercise, incorporate a squat prior to the press. Come down and as you ascend from the squat, press the dumbbell up and overhead.
