Tamara Squires is the creator of Dancer’s Body® and FLiP: Start With Happy! fitness programs. FLiP incorporates a balance of Positive Mindset, Optimal Fitness training and Nutrition. Tamara regularly conducts motivational seminars, master classes and one-to-one intensives where she trains and inspires people to be Happy, Healthy and Fit! She is a master teacher, motivational speaker and professional choreographer celebrating 30 years of experience as an instructor. Tamara was recognized by Oprah’s OWN producers out of 15,000 auditions for her Health and Wellness show idea for OWN. She has taught Health and Wellness at the University of Utah, where she is currently the Director of Jazz Dance and Artistic Director of Live To Dance Concerts. She has performed and taught throughout the United States, Australia, Europe, Canada, Asia and Mexico. Tamara’s own personal struggle with weight is at the heart of her program. Her goal is to provide fitness that is fun, maintainable and help clients have a BEFORE and EVER AFTER photo. Tamara is the Executive Director of TAMJAMS!, a touring professional dance/fitness convention that brings customized workshops to studios around the world. She started her career at age 12 on the TV show, Kids Incorporated. Her credits include: The Academy Awards; Assistant Choreographer for Michael Jackson’s production of Sisterella (European tour); the film Dance To Win with Paula Abdul; The Tonight Show; NBC Soaps (Days of Our Lives & Generations); national Pepsi commercials; Saved by the Bell; Music Man; A Chorus Line; Broadway on Tap; Asics and Danskin Industrials; MTV videos; and singer/dancer for Stacy Q and Cheyenne concert tours. Tamara performed with the legendary Debbie Reynolds at the Nokia theater in Los Angeles for a crowd of 7,000.
