Figure 8 Front Lunge

Lunges are a fantastic way to train the lower body. With this figure 8 lunge, we're going to incorporate a proprioceptive task and some upper body movement into the progression. Start by doing a front lunge. Step forward, pass underneath the leg, and then do a hand to hand switch as you alternate the lunge. To progress this movement, add a high pull. As you pass, you will pull up and then step and pass it again. You actually want to do this quite fast, dropping into the lunge, driving back through the heel, and pulling that elbow up to incorporate the upper body and core.
