This deadlift progression on the BOSU balance trainer is a balance challenge. Start with a bent legged deadlift. Hold the dumbbells and come down, keeping the spine long, head and neck aligned, and then come back up. As a progression, do a stiff legged dead lift. Sit the hips back, come down, keep the spine neutral, and then come back up. Now you don't want to go down too deep to keep the spine in neutral. For third and final progression, take away the visual effect. Close the eyes on the way down. Use kinesthetic sense and awareness, and then open your eyes and come back up. Now you can do that with your eyes closed in both directions or eyes closed in either direction. Either way, it's going to give you a great challenge.
