Burn The Bird Holiday Workout

Hectic holiday schedules can make it a little more challenging than usual to get your workouts in, but if you plan ahead it can be pretty simple to visit with family and friends and still maintain your training schedule. One simple solution whether you're visiting family away from home or your house is full of out-of-towners is to go to a local park for some fresh air and a little movement. The Burn The Bird workout is the perfect park workout. Go with the family, and while they stroll along the trails, you can pump-up the intensity with 3 sets of 10 exercises (detailed below). Better yet, make it a family affair and invite your kids and any other fitness-inclined relatives to join you! Here's the basic 'Recipe' for the Burn the Bird workout: Warm up 5-10 min jog, and include one of the Dynamic Warm Up routines (previous videos). Then perform 1-3 sets, 20-reps of each of the 10 exercises in order. Run or brisk-walk for 5 minutes between each set.
