MUSCULOSKELETAL DYSFUNCTION- PATHOLOGIES OF THE LOWER EXTREMITY
This course is designed for the fitness professional who desires an in-depth understanding to pathological conditions that can lead to dysfunction of the lower extremity.
Through a thorough discussion students will review fundamental anatomy, joint function - normal and abnormal perspectives, with an emphasis on how acute and chronic stresses can cause pain, trauma inflammation, and pathology, which lead to dysfunction and mechanical deviations.
Conditions addressed include; synovitis, bursitis, meniscus and labral tears, chondral defects, degenerative joint disease, dislocation, strains, sprains , and more. 2.5 AAPTE CEC’s –Presenter: Theresa Cordova
