IDEA Ambassadors

Be passionate. Be active. Be committed to your profession. We are looking for ambassadors who will commit to these attributes and who have a high degree of integrity and commitment. If you feel you can make a difference regarding health and fitness in your regional area or country, join the IDEA Ambassador program today!

IDEA Heath & Fitness Association utilizes ambassadors from all over the world in our efforts to “Inspire the World to Fitness™.” As an ambassador you will provide the following:

  • Spread the word on IDEA in your country or regional area
  • Support and represent local IDEA members
  • Support new membership inquiries and IDEA awareness
  • Educate fitness professionals about IDEA events or publications
  • Based on individual initiative, utilize IDEA marketing tools to create local marketing efforts (i.e. increase awareness of IDEA, events, membership, education, etc.)

  • One free business membership, which includes all three IDEA publications, after one year of active duty

Responsibilities

  • Generate IDEA registrations and memberships
  • Keep detailed records
  • Communicate regularly with Ambassador Program Manager to discuss activities
  • Represent IDEA in a professional and ethical manner at all times
  • Attend IDEA events

Qualifications

  • Participant must have strong knowledge of IDEA, membership and events.
  • Participant must have access to a geographic and demographic market area that IDEA wishes to reach more effectively.
  • Participant must have the time and dedication to actively distribute and present membership/event collateral to their colleagues.
  • Participant must have a secure mailing address where IDEA can send membership/event/recognition collateral.
  • Participant must have access to e-mail, fax or phone to correspond with Ambassador Program Manager.

Application Process

  • Complete Ambassador application.
  • Participant must provide a professional resume outlining recognition, credentials, education, range of services and areas of emphasis.
  • Participant must identify the region where they have the most influence.
  • Participant must demonstrate ability to reach their designated audience.
  • Participant must submit a digital picture.

Expectations

It is the responsibility of the Ambassador to encode all promotional materials with their source code and to keep their own records. The Ambassador must demonstrate a reasonable amount of effort and results to maintain Ambassadorship. IDEA reserves the right to replace an Ambassador for inactivity at any point in time.
