715: Heart Rate Variability and Workout Readiness
The beating heart is one of 50 rhythms in your body. In this session you will learn how heart rate variability maps to the autonomic nervous system's ability to regulate the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems. Heart rate variability is a key indicator of stress levels, recovery needs, over-training, and overreaching. This session will allow the trainer to understand how to utilize heart rate variability to program training load for effective recovery and optimal performance.
