The emerging research examining high-intensity intermittent exercise indicates numerous benefits for cardiovascular health, fat loss, prevention of obesity, insulin resistance and cardiovascular performance. The physiologic, metabolic, skeletal and biological mechanisms underlying all of these responses and adaptations will be discussed and explained. Eight fabulous high-intensity interval training programs from research studies will be presented. This is a must-attend session for all champions of HIIT training.
