013: STOTT PILATES® Mat-Plus™ WS
This interactive workshop demonstrates how simple tools can expand the options available in any Matwork™ class. Learn select exercises from the STOTT PILATES Matwork repertoire incorporating the Arc Barrel, the Fitness Circle® resistance ring and the Flex-Band® exerciser. Find out how you can use these props to challenge the core and periphery and aid in developing a program for all ability levels. Learn to utilize these tools to challenge or facilitate movements in flexion, lateral flexion or extension, or to target core and peripheral muscle with ingenuity and variety. You’ll also discover useful tips on the application of exercises and modifications for specific body types, fitness levels and special needs, as well as learn cues and corrections for safety and effectiveness.
