010: STOTT PILATES® Muscular Strength Endurance and Reformer Resistance for Teens (WS)

Mind-body exercise is essential to the development of the minds and bodies of pre-teens
and teenagers. This workshop will feature mat- and reformer-based exercises that will
promote overall body awareness, good posture and proper breathing techniques.
Toning Balls™ and the Fitness Circle® will be used to create enjoyable workouts designed
to keep teens engaged and challenged. In addition, participants will learn how to design
resistance training (utilizing the reformer) that will promote the development of core
and peripheral strength, contribute to stamina and endurance, and increase stability
and flexibility through eccentric control.
Participants will receive a Certificate of Completion.
