707: Regress Before You Progress
Trainers are constantly faced with reworking the exercise prescription when clients are not reaching their goals. Often, lack of client progress is due to dysfunction, which can be attributed to pain, injury or limitation in range of motion. Some people can't even handle their own body weight, let alone the forces that come with exercise. In this class, we will study exercise design strategies that intentionally require a client to go backwards (regress) in their training in order to finally make progress.
