225: Recovery-The Forgotten Training Variable
Do you have clients who love to exercise vigorously every day yet can't seem to lose weight? Do you work with athletes who love to train and compete but don't seem to improve? The typical mentality is that if a little exercise is good, then more must be better; however, overtraining is a serious issue that has detrimental consequences. Simply increasing volume and intensity of training is not the best way to overcome a plateau. Another way to consider overtraining is that the athlete or client is under-recovered.
